We are pleased to offer organic, vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free and (mostly) sugar-free macrobiotic savoury and sweets.
Provide SSI Farmer's Market and Local events.
We moved to this beautiful island 7years ago.It has all started,Our Country had a nuclear accident h 10 year’s ago.We decided to escape and travel all around the world, to find a new place to live, and We discovered Saltspring.
When traveling, we often find difficult to quality vegan food (we are vegetarian for more than 20 years by now).
That experience led to our mission: to provide healthy, vegan and yummy (not oxymoron!) savoury and sweets to Saltspringers and visitors to this magical island.
Some of our “sweets” are completely sugar free so you won’t have to worry about giving them to your beloved kids or feel “guilty” enjoying them yourselves. We feel grateful that so many Saltspringers have already become our “regulars” in the past years.
We also joyously cater to your parties and gatherings, and happily make goodies to your special orders (e.g. macrobiotic cakes for your kids’ birthdays!) Some of our products are also available at the “Local” section of Saltspring mercantile and Saltspring Country Grocer started dealing with our condiments.

We are new Canadian Residence.Since 8 Years ago.We are earnestly trying to learn the language quick so we can fluidly have deeper, more meaningful conversations with you.
We hope you’ll find our creations a valuable addition to your healthy diet. Our name, Vital Kitchen unfolded from our commitment to offering vital nutritional support to help all who eat our creations be as healthy and happy as possible.

We have made a conscious effort to accommodate our customers' ethical and dietary demands by using organic, natural and locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible.
Our ingredients are thoughtfully selected that all recipes are without MSG, artificial flavour enhancers and processed sugar.
We strive for a holistic approach to sustainability.We make it from scratch.
All the things uses compostable and Eco friendly containers.
We believe this as an incredible opportunity to help change the world—and more importantly, each of the local communities we serve—by using sustainable disposable products that shift an Plastic contribute to ocean pollution and pose a danger to marine life. Some country have begun banning them..
We believe it is our responsibility to do our part to reduce the amount of waste we produce whenever we can.
Our continued participation in recycling and composting programs, along with the use of biodegradable and compostable take out packaging reinforces this belief.Thank you of your understanding.

日本からカナダに引っ越してきた旅とインドが大好きな日本人家族です。
原発事故をきっかけに移住を決意し、あちこちの国や町を探して見つけた場所
カナダの離島ソルトスプリング島に住んでいます。
この島にはヒッピーやたくさんの愉快な人やアーティスト、環境やエコに
関心のある人が住んでいる世界でも稀に見る独立的で素敵な島です。
島の地質もミルキークオーツでできており、島全体の磁場が高く波動も良いので、スピリチュアルアイランド
と呼ばれたり、また島の90％以上はオーガニックファームなので、オーガニックアイランドとも呼ばれています。
この素敵な島で、私たちは毎週火曜日と、土曜日にファーマーズマーケットへの出店や、
ケータリングをしています。
主なメニューは、インドカレーにサモサ、ヘンプのおやつを作っています。
私達家族は冬になると、マーケットが休みになるので旅に出るのですが、
まず最初に探すのが、オーガニックカフェや、ベジタリアンのレストランです。
かれこれもう二十年以上ベジ生活をしているのですが、旅先で子供に食べさせたい安心で安全な
ご飯やさんを見つけるのはとても大変です。素敵なお店がみつかった時には感謝しきりです。
この島は夏場は観光地で、毎年年間40〜50万人観光客が訪れます。
そんな中でグルテンにアレルギーのある方や、ビーガンダイエットをされている方へ
フードを提供させていただいて大変好評をいただいており、
また地元の島のコミニティの皆さんへは安心と美味しいを一番に日々の健康を願ってお作りしています。　
大切なお子さんへは、砂糖やオイルも極力減らしたレシピを思考錯誤し、美味しいおやつを罪悪感無く食べて欲しいと考えています。
私達は、常に新商品や新しいレシピと開発に取り組んでおり、味や原材料にこだわりを持っています。
可能な限りほぼオーガニックと、地元の野菜と自分たちで育てた野菜を使用しています。
環境問題とリサイクルへの取り組みにも高く関心があります。
オープンした時からお店で使う全ての容器はコンポストや、再生紙　負荷の少ない木のスプーンなどを使用しています。
コストよりも環境を重視していますので、過剰包装はしておりません。
新プロジェクトとして、世界の調味料シリーズと、我が家で種蒔きして育てた麻を炭焼きした麻炭の販売も始まりました。
